A Great Local Mission Opportunity
Longview Baptist Church in Lee's Summit is prayerfully searching for A Christian (couple preferred) to begin and teach a youth Sunday School class. Requirements include:

A growing and vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
A commitment for one year to the class and to the life of Longview Baptist.
A passion to reach, teach and disciple youth.
A ministerial reference.

The church needs groups who are interested in a one-day mission project (or more if needed). They are renovating their sanctuary and are in need of help moving pews, plastering walls, painting, cleaning lighting etc. They are trying to get the church ready to be a birthing center for new church plants. Forest Avenue Family Shelter is one of the oldest shelters for women and children in Kansas City. It is run by Forest Avenue Baptist Church and can often use donations of food, clothing, volunteer labor and financial assistance. Contact Pastor Ken Smith for info on how your church or group can help.
