AZ-U-R CHURCH
…a rock-n-roll worship experience…
AZ-U-R Church is a new church in southeast Lee’s Summit dedicated to reaching people through outreach and mission activities. Our vision is to share God’s love in Christ with anyone, anywhere, anytime. Our strategy is to express love, acceptance, and forgiveness through ministries and mission activities that will reach people for Christ based on the AZ-U-R principle in Matthew 9:11-13, Mark 2:16-17, and Luke 5:30-32. We try to engage people where they are, lead them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and invite them to worship, grow, serve, and witness.
At AZ-U-R we do things a little differently. We want people to feel comfortable and relaxed in our service. We believe worship is a time of celebration so we use rock-n-roll music and seek to create a positive spirit. Friendships and relationships are important to us and we seek to create these through small groups and other fellowship activities.
For more information on our church as well as our outreach and ministry opportunities, feel free to contact our church office or visit us at www.az-u-r.com.

Crossroads Church is a spiritual community forming in downtown Kansas City. Our vision is to transform Kansas City and the world with the landmarks of the gospel: prayer, preaching, life together, conversions (Acts 2). This will happen as God empowers humble, gospel-loving people to plan strategically, work tirelessly, and give sacrificially in culturally-targeted ways.
Our Mission
Crossroads Church exists to love Jesus, connect people, and transform cities. Jesus didn’t come to earth to organize a political party, pass on religious rituals, or tell people how to get fat and happy.
Jesus came to restore people to their intended role as God’s cooperative friends. He empowered his followers to get creative in doing good for the sake of those around them, for their own sake, and for the glory of Jesus, and left his Spirit to make this adventure possible. Are you ready to join him?

Midtown Community Church is a new work being planted among the historic Union Hill, Longfellow, Beacon Hill, and Hyde Park neighborhoods of midtown Kansas City. The work began in the early months of 2008, and Midtown is planning to launch publicly in early spring 2010.
Pastors Adam R. Christensen and Matthew Creath are currently meeting with and gathering core team members, they are seeking church partnerships, and they are working to establish a lasting indigenous identity in these strategic neighborhoods.
The church has identified numerous reasons to plant in this part of Kansas City; the area is experiencing great revitalization; the foundations for strong community are historically present and currently tangible; the area is diverse culturally, economically, racially, educationally, and most strategically, spiritually; and this area of Kansas City has experienced great trauma in recent years. It is poised to experience great revitalization, especially with the infusion of the gospel! Midtown seeks to be the conduit for just such a gospel-centered revitalization.
Midtown Community Church exists to see the neighborhoods of midtown
Kansas City transformed by a redemptive, maturing, and surrendered
relationship with Jesus Christ. Please feel free to contact the church for more information.

Paradise Outfitter Ministries is a unique church plant designed to reach outdoorsmen and their families with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Many outdoorsmen are looking for a place where they can worship their Creator, and feel like they have the freedom to be themselves. By connecting these men, women, and families through a common interest they instantly feel accepted through their common interest in the outdoors. Having a common interest leads to a faster connection with people, they feel more accepted, and feel like they have the freedom to be themselves.
Paradise Outfitter Ministries meets in a camping resort south of Oak Grove, MO. When the weather allows we meet in a pavilion overlooking the Lake at Lake Paradise. It is awesome to worship while we watch the geese land on the water, watch the sun setting, deer on the campground, and feel the breeze off the lake. It is a setting that outdoorsmen can feel comfortable in, and it helps them connect with something they already believe in...a creator. We are simply helping them understand that creator is Jesus Christ, and that He has made it possible for them to live a life of "freedom."
Through an outdoor worship setting, outdoor activities, and a group that welcomes new people wherever they are in their spiritual journey we are reaching men and families who have either given up on church or have little to no church background. One of the most common comments we have from our guests is that they instantly felt like they were accepted for who they are.

Mission Statement:
Tree of Life Church is called to proclaim the Gospel of Christ and the beliefs of the Christian faith, to maintain the worship of God, and to inspire in all persons a love for Christ, a passion for righteousness, and a consciousness of their duties to God and their fellow human beings. We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through worship, witnessing, and ministry to the needs of the people of this church and the community.
Vision Statement:
Our Vision is to continually mature and grow as a united body of Jesus-imitators who live out God’s greatest commandment to “Love” (Mt. 22:37-39) and by exalting God, serving one another, His great commission to “Go” (Mt. 28:18-20) and by reaching into and shaping our local, regional, and global communities.
The mission that drives our vision is defined in our name. We exist to forthrightly declare the full counsel of the Gospel of Jesus Christ unashamedly as it has been revealed in the scriptures making it the absolute Truth (Romans 1:16). We desire to live lives that are grounded and rooted in the inerrant Word of God, the Bible, by watching our lives and doctrine closely (1 Timothy 4:16). We desire to have authentic relationships with people both inside and outside of our local body. Missional Fellowship as seen in Acts 2:42-47 is our hearts cry.
