Dr. Rodney Hammer came to the Association in October of 2008. He serves as the Executive Director of Missions.
Prior to that time he served for 18 years with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, 10 years in China and Southeast Asia, and 8 years as the Regional Leader for Central & Eastern Europe. Dr. Hammer has both a Masters of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Loren Hutchinson came to the Association in February of 1985. He serves as the Associate Director of Missions.
Loren holds a B.S. and M.A. degree from Truman State University. He taught choral music in public schools for 13 years before entering the ministry full-time when joining the staff of FBC, Trenton, MO.
Loren is the person to contact for any questions about church programs or computer technology.
Loren has two grown sons, Matthew and Robert. He is married to his wife, Tatyana, and has a step-son, Ivan. E-mail Loren here.
Jennifer Hutton joined our staff in December of 2010. She has 22 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, both in secular and in church settings
Jennifer is the person to contact to reserve the Block Party Trailer, Bar-b-que Smoker, Video Bible Studies and meeting rooms at the Mission Center.

Travis Hamm is the Association’s Student Minister. Travis attended Northwest Missouri State University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Music Performance. While attending Northwest, God led him to the Baptist Student Union college ministry. It was during his time as a student leader for the B.S.U. that Travis developed a passion for ministering to college students.
Travis received a Masters of Divinity, Collegiate Ministries from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Britney and has one child, Ambrielle. E-mail Travis here.
Luis Mendoza is the Missouri Baptist Convention's Multicultural Church Planting Field Assistant for Kansas City. A native of Nicaragua, Luis has been involved with church planting since 1992. After being ordained to the preaching ministry in 1997, Luis received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hannibal-LaGrange College, Hannibal, Missouri in 2002. In 2007, he received a Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently enrolled in the Doctoral of Ministry program through Midwestern.
